0.0.6 — terminal ANSI yellow correction
The integrated terminal ANSI yellow now matches the rest of the Slatewave family: slot 3 moves from amber-700 `#b45309` to amber-500 `#f59e0b`, slot 11 from amber-400 `#fbbf24` to amber-300 `#fcd34d`. That re-tune swept the terminal emulators on 2026-05-19 but never reached the editors with integrated terminals, so the same shell output rendered orange inside the editor and yellow outside it. The semantic amber roles are a separate token family and are unchanged: `#fbbf24` for warnings, escape characters, and decorators; `#b45309` for the warning status bar and deprecated markers. Applies to `TERMINAL_YELLOW`, `TERMINAL_BRIGHT_YELLOW`, and `CONSOLE_YELLOW_OUTPUT`. This repo stores colors as bare hex (`value="b45309"`), so it was invisible to the `#`-prefixed search that found the others. The README accent table also split a stale row: `#b45309` had been credited with "yellow terminal" alongside "deprecated markers", which stopped being true once ANSI yellow moved.

This theme's `terminal.ansi*` block is the family's declared reference — alacritty-slatewave's config comments and ghostty-slatewave's README both cite it as what the terminal themes mirror. Leaving it on the old values made that documented invariant false in every terminal repo, which is why this one mattered beyond its own users. Also adds alt text to the README ANSI swatches and an Open VSX badge.

0.0.1 — initial release
First release of Slatewave for [Warp](https://www.warp.dev/). A single `slatewave.yaml` covering background, foreground, accent, cursor, and all 16 ANSI slots. `details: darker` so Warp derives its input box, block borders, and tab bar by darkening slate `#282c34` rather than lightening it. The ANSI block mirrors `terminal.ansi*` from vscode-slatewave, so shell output reads identically in the editor and in Warp. Install with the Slatewave CLI (v0.0.25 or later): ```sh slatewave install warp ``` Or drop the file in manually — macOS `~/.warp/themes/`, Linux `${XDG_DATA_HOME:-$HOME/.local/share}/warp-terminal/themes/`, Windows `%APPDATA%\warp\Warp\data\themes\`. Then pick **Slatewave** in Settings → Appearance → Themes. The macOS and Linux paths are verified end to end. The Windows path is taken from Warp's documentation and has not been confirmed on a Windows machine — reports welcome.·last month
0.0.3 — amber realignment + brand header
Aligns the amber tokens with the family-wide yellow re-tune and refreshes the README brand header. `slatewave.tmux.conf` moves the bell indicator and copy-mode mark from `#fbbf24` to `#fcd34d`, and the token names change from `amber_400` / `amber_700` to `amber_300` / `amber_500`. tmux does not define an ANSI palette of its own, but these two elements visually track ANSI yellow — leaving them on the old pair made the bell read gold against a terminal whose yellow had already shifted. The README brand header now uses the hexagon icon and a `<picture>`-based light/dark wordmark swap, sourced from getslatewave.com so future brand updates propagate without touching every repo. Reinstall or re-source your tmux config to pick up the colors: `tmux source-file ~/.tmux.conf`.

0.0.4 — ANSI yellow docs correction
Documentation-only release. The theme file itself is unchanged — no need to reinstall unless you copied hex values out of the README. The README ANSI table and palette swatches still documented the pre-2026-05-19 yellows (`#b45309` / `#fbbf24`). The shipped theme moved to amber-500 `#f59e0b` and amber-300 `#fcd34d` in that sweep, but no README was updated at the time, so the docs contradicted the file for anyone reading them as the source of truth. An ANSI 3 swatch row was added alongside the bright counterpart that was already listed. The semantic amber roles are a separate token family and are unchanged: `#fbbf24` for warnings and escape characters, `#b45309` for deprecated markers.

### Slatewave 0.0.1 The first release of Slatewave — a dark theme built around a deep slate foundation with teal as its signature accent. Designed to match the kevinlangleyjr oh-my-posh prompt, so your terminal and editor share a unified look. The palette pairs the cool, muted blues of slate with teal highlights, accented by sky, rose, purple, and amber for syntax differentiation — enough contrast to be readable, not enough to be loud.
